Dormitienda, the leading Valencian company in rest, opens five new stores in Spain
The company leader in rest systems national in scope, Sleeping, It has opened five new stores in four different provinces of the Spanish geography as the first stage in the expansion plan in which the brand is immersed. With 25 years of history behind it, Dormitienda is positioned at the head of the rest market and continues to expand in Spain. The firm produces around 1,200 mattresses per day, and its online store has more than 1,000 references in the catalog.
The creation of new products is subject to one of the pillars of the company: innovation. Through its investment policy in R&D, Dormitienda develops mattresses and accessories that in addition to guaranteeing sleep adapt to new ways of life and values of society.
Sustainable rest, the new ecological mattress
The company led by Mónica Duart recently presented an Ecofriendly line, an option of ecological rest that recycles PET plastic bottles to convert them into fabric with the highest quality guarantees. This initiative seeks to curb pollution from the oceans, which receive more than eight tons of plastic each year.
The company is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, reducing its carbon footprint as much as possible. Dormitienda has already opted for the most respectful options on other occasions, such as the use of clean and renewable energy for the manufacture of their mattresses. It did so by installing photovoltaic solar panels in its production plants on an area of more than 20,000 square meters.
Sleeping and social commitment: rest for all
Sustainability is not the only bet of the brand. The Valencian firm is clear that rest is a universal right that should be accessible to all as a essential element in people’s health.
It’s 2021 Sleeping increases by 50% its social contributions within its policy of social responsability led by the “Commitment 1 in 10” initiative. For every 10 sales, Dormitienda will donate a mattress of a model from its collection to foundations and NGOs that collaborate to guarantee the right to a decent bed.
Under this umbrella of sustainability and social commitment, the company continues its expansion plan, which points to a future internationalization of the brand.
